Examination Preparation Disclaimer
Candidates should be aware that the IPAN-SoTLAN examinations are not written according to any single textbook/material/manual. Any study lists and resource materials that are referenced are suggested guides for IPAN-SoTLAN examination candidates. The list of suggested resources by IPAN-SoTLAN is not exclusive and should not be interpreted as a guaranteed means of passing the examination. There is no guarantee that the answers to all IPAN-SoTLAN examination questions will be found within these references. It is also possible that information on these suggested lists may have perceptions that differ from those of IPAN-SoTLAN. For purposes of this certification examination, the IPAN-SoTLAN interpretation will prevail.
IPAN-SoTLAN does not recommend any training, resource or means of preparing for the examination over another. Due to its relationship with the Institute of Public Analysts of Nigeria, IPAN-SoTLAN promotes IPAN Workshop manuals, but does not endorse it as the sole recommended resource for examination preparation. The use of any suggested IPAN Workshop manuals does not guarantee success on the examination. Independent organizations or individuals that conduct training programmes or tutorials for the purpose of preparing candidates for the IPAN-SoTLAN examinations are free to do so, as long as the IPAN-SoTLAN name and licensed marks are not misrepresented.
Exam Preparation
IPAN-SoTLAN offers the following tips to candidates preparing to take any of the IPAN-SoTLAN certification examinations:
- Refer to your on the bench experience, drawing from on-the-job training.
- Consult and study textbooks that provide updated technical information regarding the profession.
- Review the Examination Content Outline for a comprehensive outline of the content that will appear on the examination.
- Study/Review relevant professionally related test tutorial.
Trainings for Certification Examinations
IPAN-SoTLAN does not offer or provide training for its certification schemes. Neither does IPAN-SoTLAN outsource certification process to other organisations/individuals. It is IPAN-SoTLAN’s policy to keep training independent of evaluation and certification to ensure that confidentiality and impartiality are not compromised.”
